  • Responsibilities

    • Schedule all furnished apartment utilities and cable and internet installations in a timely manner ensuring these services are connected and working prior to move-in.
    • Create and maintain an organized and efficient tracking system for installations and appointments for installs, tech calls, and cable waits.
    • Troubleshoot utility and cable and internet issues in a timely manner and with a high level of customer service.
    • Schedule any additional appointments needed between vendors and residents/clients.
    • Confirm completion of all appointments and work orders, and enter into the internal Work Order Tracking System.
    • Manage distribution and retrieval of Verizon wireless devices and place in all apartments in need of internet when connected service is down or due to delayed install.
    • Maintain a high level of customer service.
    • Communicate effectively with residents, fellow associates, vendors, communities and supervisors.
    • Participate in company meetings as required.
    • Keep team informed of utilities for progress, issues, and projected completion dates
    • Work in close collaboration with vendors and team in the identification of functional, organizational and/or procedural issues and bring about swift and effective solutions.
    • Contribute ideas for increased process flow or new technologies relating to cable and internet.
    • Cross Train within the Services department and assist teammates as needed.
    • Innovative Problem Solving.
    • Other tasks as assigned by the Sr. Guest Services Manager, Hospitality Manager, Regional Managers, or Vice President



    A high school education or equivalent is required. The position does require the ability to read and write English fluently, and the ability to accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions.



    Previous experience managing modem/router devices and cable and internet troubleshooting techniques.  Familiar with cable installation processes and troubleshooting problems. Customer service experience.

    • Ability and access to drive a car



    A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is required.



    Generally, no prior training is required.  However, completion of in-housing training is required within 90 days of employment.



    Due to staffing limitations, it is extremely critical that individuals possess the ability to work their scheduled hours on a consistent basis and overtime hours when requested.  Position requires the ability to serve on call, as scheduled or as necessary. Position requires associate to work Monday – Friday 9:00 am- 6:00 pm CST

    Position may require travel as needed to service out of town accounts.


    Physical Requirements          

    Position requires the ability to participate in unit inspections and tours and assist with emergency measures as required.
